WeatherMAX® made from yarn-dyed Satura maxTM fibers. This yarn is a technical polymer featuring exceptional UV-resistant properties for long-lasting colorfastness and strength. The commonly used term „waterproof“ is to be understood as rain protection or rain-repellent.
hydroMAX Finish increases the water column and thereby enables outstanding results in water and mold resistance without, however, reducing the breathability of the fiber.
WeatherMAX® is characterized by very high tear resistance and kink resistance.

Our electric awnings are controlled by a remote control or an app. This allows you to extend and retract your electric awning as you wish. To make this possible, an electric Motor installed with a tube on two poles, which electrically rolls up the sun sail for you. In addition, you can determine the size and position of the sail using the remote control. In addition to the sun sail control, we offer a built-in sun, wind, and rain sensor, which is also controlled with a remote control. The classic parasol is available at a low cost, but ineffective as Terrace shading resp. What shapes and materials are available?
Here, the customer decides entirely according to their personal taste. We offer you rectangular, square, and triangular shade sails, as well as trapezoidal, rhombus, parallelogram, and irregularly shaped ones. They are usually made of specially coated synthetic fibers, which makes the shade sails wind- and weather-resistant. Thanks to their tight weave, the fabrics used provide optimal shade. It is also possible to have the fabric additionally impregnated, for example with Teflon. If the patio shade sail is certified with the UV Standard 801, it filters skin-damaging UV radiation. With our Colourshade or Weather MAX 80 fabrics, you can design your shade sail entirely according to your preferences. For your innovative roll-up system, you can also choose between various color shades or have your company logo printed.
How is the patio sun sail attached?
The shade sail can be attached to the facade of the house, to a corner of the house, or to an inside corner of the house. However, there is also the option to choose a freestanding shade sail. In this case, it is important to ensure that the shade sail is installed at a slight angle so that rainwater can drain off easily.
What makes shade sails the ideal sun protection for the patio?
We not only help you identify the optimal materials and the suitable shape of the sail shade for your needs. Our permanent patio cover is also securely fixed yet easily removable. This is ensured by a stable foundation, floor poles tailored to your needs, and secure anchoring. To ensure that the sun protection for the patio withstands upcoming weather stresses such as wind and rain, all our shade providers are equipped with multiple-stitched seams and robust hems in the area of the edges and brackets.
Is a patio shade sail rainproof or only water-repellent?
This depends heavily on the chosen material. With Solar Protect Let's distinguish between high-strength, air-permeable fabrics (HDPE), which primarily protect against UV radiation, and completely waterproof fabrics. A high-quality, waterproof shade sail requires a minimum slope of approximately 15% through 25%, so that rainwater can drain off in a controlled manner. This prevents the formation of dangerous water pockets that could put a strain on the fabric and the anchoring. Our electrically and automatically retractable systems are designed to remain stable even during a summer rain shower, provided the inclination is set correctly.
Electric vs. Manual: Which retraction system is better for my patio?
The choice of system is a matter of comfort and security. A manually retractable shade sail is the affordable and robust solution for purists. It is operated via an endless cord or a crank. A electrically retractable sun sail on the other hand, offers maximum luxury. Using a remote control or smartphone app, you can guide the shade precisely to where you need it. The greatest advantage of the automation, however, is protection: integrated wind and sun sensors act as your personal „race control.“ They detect incoming gusts and roll the sail in fully automatically, even when you aren't home. This massively increases the lifespan of the entire system.
